We firmly believe that school is a place of transformation. If this transformation is positive it brings impact, opportunities and possibilities for each child.

We believe in the power of passionate and skilled teachers, who love, nurture and care for each child, and who have the time to give their attention. 

We believe in the natural curiosity of each child as a driver for learning and growth. We have to create learning environments that enable this curiosity to unfold. 

We believe in loving community being a nourishing foundation for learning. For school to be integrated and a place of community, not a silo. 

We believe most schools today have two issues: They are stuck in the past and they make us believe that high quality education needs to be very expensive.

We know that having access to good education is the gateway to opportunities. We believe that school can be accessible. It just requires us to re-imagine it.

We also continuously innovate as we learn from our experience and the world evolves. Technology-enabled classrooms are key to our learning model.

It focuses on tutoring and coaching to guide their learning, identify gaps and overcome hurdles. We provide tools for thinking and developing skills, while guiding learners on their personalised pathway.

It is essential for learners to feel safe and accepted in their learning environment, as well as a sense of belonging. We thus create a loving environment for learners to flourish. 
We integrate  feedback and allow learners to create real-world connections through project-based, interdisciplinary and applied curriculum and assessment. 
Engaging and integrating all community members Learning with and from peers, within the same and mixed age-range, helps students remain in their zones of proximal development. Thus in our model learners connect, exchange and collaborate with others in their learning journey. We also engage community members as tutors and mentors.
Skills, mindsets and academic foundation relevant to today & tomorrowIn today’s world, skills and meta-skills are essential to navigate the ever-changing nature of life and work. Thus our curriculum focuses on such timeless skills in addition to the academic foundations, and enables learners to develop according to their competency and mastery levels.
Accessible through an income-based tuition modelWe are convinced that quality education needs to AND can be accessible to families in a community. While our model is designed to enable more affordable quality education, we ensure that a representative range of families from the community is able to join. We do this through an income-based tuition model - where your tuition depends on the household income.

WHO WE LEARN FROM

We strongly believe in the importance of constant figures in a child's live that serve as mentors, tutors and guides. A teacher and others in the community of a learner can have this role.

Teachers & GuidesTeachers serve as guides who facilitate and coach learners on their journey. You will not find a teacher standing in front of the classroom at a blackboard, but in small groups or 1:1 sessions with learners. 
Peers & Small groupsIn small groups of similar or mixed ages we learn from and with each other, collaborate and problem-solve
Community membersMembers of the community serve as mentors, tutors, supporting figures who are an integral part of the school day to day. 
PractitionersWe bring in practitioners who share their experiences and engage in real-world examples to immerse ourselves.
